5-axis machining for complex geometries

With our powerful Auerbach IXION TL2, a 5-axis deep hole drilling and milling machine, we have the ability to precisely machine even demanding and complex geometries. This means for you:

• Drilling depths of up to 2x 1,200 mm,
• Drill diameter between 4 and 22 mm,
• Processing of workpieces made of aluminum, steel, brass, copper and bronze, among others,
• Simple control thanks to Heidenhain technology.

Large components? No problem!

Our machine offers a generous working area of 2,000 x 1,300 x 1,000 mm and a rotary table of 1,500 x 1,000 mm, so that we can also process larger workpieces with a maximum weight of up to 7 tons precisely and efficiently.

Reliable quality control

At Dornbusch, quality comes first. Each bore is measured manually by our experienced machine operators to ensure that all tolerances are precisely adhered to. On request, we also offer measurement on the measuring machine with a detailed measurement report so that you always have an overview of the quality of your components.

Flexibility for special requirements

Does your project require deeper holes or special materials? On request, we can offer you individual solutions for special drilling and the machining of other materials. In individual cases, we can have special deep-hole drilling tools manufactured externally for this purpose. Whether you have rough ideas or need a specific solution, we can provide you with exactly the deep-hole drilling you need – without compromise!
